Coffee Saturdays: Matras cafe

Dziś powiem Wam co nieco o nietypowej kawiarni, a mianowicie o kawiarni Matras. Nie wiem, ile z Was zdecydowało się napić tam kawy, ale te które to zrobiły na pewno są pozytywnie zaskoczone. Sam pomysł łączenia księgarni z kawiarnią jest jak dla mnie świetny i cieszę się, że coraz więcej miejsc decyduje się na taką kombinację. W końcu niewiele jest rzeczy tak przyjemnych, jak możliwość przeczytania dobrej książki lub gazety popijając przepyszne cappuccino. Kawiarnie Matras są fajne, bo jest ich sporo, oferują coraz szerszy wybór  napojów (kawy, herbaty, czekolady, koktajle) w niewysokich cenach i mają dobrze przeszkolony personel (co nie zawsze się zdarza w miejscach, gdzie kawa jest rzeczą ‘drugorzędną’). Poza tym praktycznie cały czas można natrafić na ciekawe promocje i bonusy, takie jak opcja którejś kawy gratis, kawy za 5zł, czy zniżki na grę, książkę albo ciasto przy zakupie jakiegoś napoju. Słowem dobry marketing i dbanie o klienta. Jedyne, co może trochę zniechęcać, to brak klimatycznego wystroju księgarni Matras, ale myślę, że jest to rzecz w tym przypadku drugorzędna. Jeśli jakimś cudem nie dotarłyście jeszcze do tych kawiarni, to polecam wybrać się tam przy najbliższej okazji :)

Today I’m going to tell you something about a rather untypical café, namely cafe Matras.  I don’t know how many of you have already decided to have a cup of coffee there but I’m sure that those who have, are positively surprised. The whole idea of combining a café and a bookshop is awesome in my opinion and I’m more than happy that there are more and more places like that . After all, there are not many things as pleasant as reading a good book or magazine sipping a delicious cappuccino. I like Matras cafés because there are plenty of them, they offer a wide range of beverages (coffee, tea, chocolate, shakes) which are not expensive at all and they have well-trained stuff (which is not always the case in places where coffee is something of a ‘second importance’). Apart from that, you can almost always come across some nice price reduction or a benefit there, ex. you can get every 10^th coffee for free, you can get some coffees for only 5zł, you can get a price reduction on a game, a book or a cookie if you buy a beverage etc. This is what I call a good marketing and taking care of a client. Actually, the only thing that may be a bit discouraging is the lack of the ‘right’ atmosphere in Matras bookshops but I guess it’s not that important in this case. If for some reason you haven’t been to these cafés yet, I recommend you to do it the next time you have a chance :)
