Paris Fashion Week

Niedawno zakończył się Paris Fashion Week… najbardziej ekscytujący tydzień dla wszystkich miłośników mody. Jak zawsze, podczas tygodnia mody w Paryżu prezentuje się nowe projekty i inspiracje najcenniejszych światowych projektantów. Jak już wspominałam, London Fashion Week jest dla mnie najważniejszy (zobacz tutaj), ale byłabym głupia gdyby nie interesowało mnie to co się działo w stolicy Francji. No to lecimy!

Paris Fashion Week is over… the most exiting one for most of fashion lovers. As always, fashion week in Paris shows new projects and inspirations of the most appreciated designers in the entire world. As I have already told you, London Fashion Week is the most interesting one for me (see here) but I’d be stupid if I weren’t interested in what was happening in the capital of France. So let’s go!

Hermès 

Bardzo zróżnicowana kolekcja. Rozpoczyna się od białych dziewczęcych ubrań i trochę bardziej kolorowych dodatków. Kiedy zaczynasz już myśleć: co za nuda!, Hermès zaskakuje wszystkich silnymi teksturami, granatem oraz niezbyt kobiecymi garniturami. Podoba mi się .

Very diverse collection. It starts with white or white-ish girly clothes and a bit more colourful accessories. When you start thinking: boring!, Hermès surprises everyone with strong textures, dark shades of blue and not that feminine suits. A good one.

  

Valentino

Ta kolekcja jest cudowna. Rzymskie sandały są jej najważniejszym elementem, który dodaje charakteru już wyróżniającym się ubraniom. Połączenie bardzo ostrych kształtów z intensywnymi kolorami dało w efekcie najbardziej unikatowe sukienki jakie można sobie wyobrazić.

This collection is just wow. Roman sandals are the most important part of it and they add even more character to already recognizable clothes. The mixture of really strong shapes and intense colours were used to create the most unique dresses possible.

 

Saint Laurent 

To coś zdecydowanie dla dziewczyn, które lubią dobra zabawę. Inspiracja latami siedemdziesiątymi oraz typowa kobieta Saint Laurent (silna, seksowna i pewna siebie) nadają kolekcji niepowtarzalnej energii i pasji. Jestem pewna, że połyskujące sandały disco będą hitem wśród wszystkich fashionistek. 

That’s something for the girls who want to have fun. Seventies’ inspirations plus the typical Saint Laurent woman (strong, sexy and self-confident) gives the collection a remarkable energy and passion. I’m sure that the shiny disco sandals are going to be a top choice for most fashionistas.

Balmain 

Oczywiście najważniejsze u Balmain są kształty. To jedna z tych marek, które nigdy nie zawodzą. Uwielbiam ich kreatywne połączenie czerni z bielą oraz nowe spojrzenie na czerwone sukienki. Sztuka w najlepszym wydaniu.

Obviously, Balmain’s shapes are everything. It’s one of those brands that never disappoint. I love the very creative mixture of black and white. And this new look on red dresses! Pure art.

Isabel Marant 

Założyłabym prawie każdy ciuch z tej kolekcji. Zwłaszcza buty. Jeszcze raz dziękuję Bogu za powrót płaskich butów! No i te krótkie sukienki idealnie podkreślające talię!

I’d wear almost every item of this collection. Especially shoes. Once again, thank God that flat shoes are coming back! And short dresses that ideally mark the waist! 

Christian Dior 

Możecie Was to dziwi, ale nie jestem wielką fanką Christiana Diora. Jednakże tym razem zrobił mi miłą niespodziankę. Najważniejszym elementem kolekcji są sukienki cudownie podkreślające kobiecą sylwetkę. Są one bardzo eleganckie, ale mają też w sobie odrobinę dziewczęcości. Niewielu projektantów potrafi osiągnąć ten efekt. 

You may be surprised but I’m not a big fan of Christian Dior. However, this time I’ve had a nice surprise. Dresses that perfectly present feminine silhouette are the most important part of the collection. They are super elegant but have something very girly in themselves at the same time. Not so many designers can achieve this effect. 

Chloé 

Materiały użyte do stworzenia tej kolekcji to jedne z najpiękniejszych materiałów jakie kiedykolwiek widziałam. Bardzo spodobały mi się też kolory (zwłaszcza, że ostatnio zakochałam się w pastelach). No i chyba nie muszę wam przypominać o artyzmie wszelkich torebek stworzonych przez Chloé?

The materials chosen for this collection are one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. I also loved the colours (especially that I’ve fallen for pastels lately). I don’t have to remind you of the artistry of bags made by Chloé?

Jako że jestem wielką fanką wszystkiego co proste, zupełnie nie podobały mi się niektóre z kolekcji zaprezentowanych w Paryżu, ponieważ były bardzo dziwne i moim zdaniem przekombinowane. Było też sporo kolekcji, które w żaden sposób mnie nie zainteresowały, jak na przykład Chanel (tak, możecie mnie za to znienawidzić). Jednak mimo wszystko myślę, że nie powinno mieć to znaczenia, bo moda powinna być zabawą i tak długo jak dostarcza nam radości jest ok :) Więc korzystajcie z tego i nabierajcie inspiracji w trakcie czekania na kolejny post Ani, która zabierze Was na Milan Fashion Week!

Finally, there were many shows that I almost hate as I’m a huge fan of everything that’s simple. And obviously, during fashion weeks like that you can spot many weird, complicated collections. Also, there’ve been some collections that didn’t surprise me at all, like Chanel (yes, you can hate me for that). But at the end of the day I think it shouldn’t really matter cause fashion should be fun and as long as it’s fun it’s ok. :)  So, enjoy it and take inspirations while waiting for the next post of Anna who will take you to Milan Fashion Week!
