Romantic Works

Muzyka jest jedną z najważniejszych rzeczy w moim życiu. Słucham jej praktycznie cały czas i nie wyobrażam sobie sytuacji, w której miałoby się to zmienić. Mam swoje ulubione zespoły i gatunki muzyczne, ale jednocześnie kiedy tylko mam okazję szukam nowych brzmień i artystów. Świat jest pełen pięknych dźwięków, tylko czasem trzeba się trochę namęczyć żeby do nich dotrzeć :)

Ostatnio przypadkiem poznałam artystę o imieniu Keaton Henson. Jest to Anglik grający muzykę z gatunku  folk rock. Przesłuchałam kilka jego kawałków i nie do końca mi się podobają, ale później dotarłam do jego najnowszej płyty Romantic Works i się zakochałam. Cały album składa się z 8 niesamowicie pięknych i przejmujących utworów nagranych na wiolonczeli i pianinie. Jest to muzyka, której z pewnością nie usłyszy się w radiu, ale bardzo, bardzo ją polecam wszystkim głodnym nowych dźwięków niedocenianej obecnie muzyki klasycznej.

Music is one of the most important things in my life. I listen to it almost all the time and I can’t imagine a situation in which this would have to change. I have my favourite bands and genres but I try to look for the new sounds and artists whenever I have time to do it. The world is full of beautiful music, sometimes one just has to try a little harder to find it. :)

Lately I’ve accidentally come across the artist named Keaton Henson. He’s and Englishman making folk rock music. I listened to some of his songs and I didn’t like them too much but then I discovered his latest album Romantic Works and fell in love. The whole thing has 8 incredibly beautiful and moving tracks played on cello and piano. It’s the kind of music that you won’t normally hear on the radio but I strongly recommend it to everybody looking for some new fresh sounds of currently underestimated classical music.
